Course Description

The Bethune Roundtable is an annual interdisciplinary meeting hosted at a Canadian academic centre to discuss challenges and solutions to improving surgical care to underserviced and marginalized patients. The objective of BRT is to bring together health professionals from across disciplines to share their experiences in delivering safe surgery in low-resource settings. The University of Ottawa is pleased to bring the Bethune Roundtable to Ottawa in 2017. We are excited to bring everyone to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday in our Nation's Capital. The theme for the 2017 conference is Evidence Based Global Surgery, Advancing Education, Research, and Advocacy. We hope to highlight the importance of using evidence to guide our initiatives, and to encourage research on Global Surgery.

Early Bird Deadline has been extended to April 28, 2017!
